Every person in a school system plays a role in student success—from the teacher in front of the classroom, to the principal leading the building, to the bus driver charged with getting kids to school safe and on time each day. How effectively districts recruit, select, develop, and support their people has a direct impact on student learning and well-being. Join Battelle for Kids’ Tony Bagshaw to explore key strategies and considerations for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive human capital management system in education. Whether you’re a principal, superintendent or HR director, this workshop is for you!

Renewal credit: The professional administrator license renewal requires four renewal credits (which must include an approved evaluator training course) and the mandatory reporter training for child and dependent adult abuse. This one-credit course satisfies the requirement for the “approved evaluator training course.” Iowa Code allows for these courses to be one or two credits at the discretion of the DE and the BoEE. It’s being offered as a field test for Evaluator Approval; a decision to offer beyond these dates will be made later in the summer.

Registration for this three day course is $330 and it is limited to 50 people.

Cancellation: Notification must be received three business days prior to the workshop for a refund of the registration fees. Contact us here or call 515-267-1115 to let us know if you're unable to attend.
